Privacy
Bonelore uses Google Analytics to count visits. It does not show advertising, and it does not collect personal details about its visitors.
What this site does
Pages, fonts, images and map data are all served from this site, so reading a page does not contact any outside service apart from the analytics script described below. The map does not load tiles from a third party.
Analytics and cookies
Bonelore uses Google Analytics 4, a service run by Google, to count visits and see which pages are read. It sets first-party cookies (named _ga and _ga_ followed by an ID) that last up to 2 years, and it records which pages are viewed, roughly where in the world the visit comes from (country and city, not an exact location), your browser and device type, and how you arrived at the site. IP addresses are not stored in Google Analytics 4 reports. The site owner sees only combined statistics, not who you are. Advertising features and Google signals are switched off, and the data is not used for ads.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, the analytics script is not loaded at all. You can also opt out everywhere with Google's browser add-on, or block the cookies in your browser settings. Google handles the data under its own policies.
The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which, like any web host, keeps basic technical logs (such as IP addresses and page requests) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Bonelore does not have access to personal profiles built from those logs.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, page and message you type are sent to the site owner by email and used only to reply to you. They are not shared or sold, and the site does not keep a copy in a database. The form is protected from spam by Cloudflare Turnstile, which runs a short check in your browser and sees your IP address and browser details to tell people from bots, under Cloudflare's privacy policy. The form uses no cookies of its own. The email is delivered through the Resend sending service. The Turnstile check loads only on the contact page.
Changes
If advertising is added later, this page will be updated first to say what is collected, who receives it and how to opt out.
Questions about privacy can go through the contact form.
